Framing the Moment · Houston, Texas
Space City · Bayou City · Most Diverse City in America
The City
Houston doesn't ask for permission. America's fourth-largest city — and its most ethnically diverse — has always generated culture that the world eventually catches up to. From 4th Ward to the Third Ward, from Screwed Up Records to the theater stages of Midtown, Houston's Black creatives have been setting the standard long before the spotlight found them.
Framing Houston is our hometown chapter — the original. Built here, for here, as a love letter to the talent that never stops creating.
"The culture doesn't need validation. It needs a frame worthy of what it already is."
